The German footballer has been linked with an exit from the Bavarian side due to his lack of playing time since Thomas Tuchel's arrival.

Bayern München is not going through the best of seasons, and that has also had an effect on their footballers.

Some of their biggest names have been involved in some arguments throughout a rocky campaign, and that has included none other than Thomas Müller. The German legend has gone through a series of injuries and problems away from the pitch, making his stay at Allianz Arena a bit uncertain. With that under consideration, Bayern execs Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic set up a meeting with the striker to discuss his options and any intention they may have had to let him leave the club.

According to the podcast BILD-Bayern Insider, the meeting between the execs and Müller had one main topic: to give the footballer the team's trust while also clearing the air about his exit. The podcast's info revealed that both Kahn and Salihamidzic had told Müller he is one of the key members of the team, and that they have not thought about parting ways with him anytime soon.

Oliver Kahn, in his capacity as one of the top execs for the team, even went on the record to share a few details on what the fans can expect from Müller's future.

"Müller leaving? That is not going to happen. I am sure that Thomas will want to stay with us," Kahn stated.

Reports close to the team suggested that Müller was thinking about leaving the club due to his lack of playing time with Thomas Tuchel, but apparently, the club's bosses are still considering him as a key member of the squad for years to come.
