The Mexican top-flight will see two of the most heated rivalries defining the teams that will fight for the title. Here is where and when both ties will be played.

The semi-final stage of the Clausura 2023 tournament in Liga MX is set, with four teams ready to go all in for a spot in the title matches.

The top seeded teams in the competition made it to the next round but with a bit of doubts, since Monterrey struggled quite a bit to break the deadlock against Santos, while América even lost the return leg against San Luis following an awful start of the return leg.

As for the other teams, Guadalajara managed to get a great ego boost following their win in the second leg against Atlas. Meanwhile, Tigres were another club that made it to the semis with a bit of drama, as they conceded three times before they could manage to eliminate Toluca with a late goal by Sebastián Córdova.

Now, the two ties to determine the finalists are set. The one that will kick things off will feature Monterrey and Tigres, with the latter hosting the opening leg at Estadio Universitario. The return leg will take place on Saturday night, with both teams willing to risk it all to hold their heads high after another edition of the Clásico Regio.

Meanwhile, one more edition of the Clásico de Clásicos between América and Guadalajara will begin on Thursday at Akron Stadium, Guadalajara's home. The return leg, which will mark the end of this stage, will be played on Sunday, May 21.

The most recent game between Rayados and Tigres was sorted out with a one-nil win for Monterrey back in March. As for the clash between América and Guadalajara, América claimed a 4-2 win away from home against Guadalajara, which means that both teams hosting the return legs know how to beat their rivals in the semi-finals.
