The English midfielder ran the show as Spurs beat the Cherries to make it back-to-back wins in the league.

Tottenham have made it back-to-back wins following their early trip to Bournemouth, with the North London giants beating Andoni Iraola's side to pick up their seventh point of the campaign.

Spurs entered this clash on the back of their confidence-boosting 2-0 win over Manchester United last weekend and looked to temporarily move top of the table, with Man City, Brighton, and Arsenal playing later on.

James Maddison, who was mesmeric all game and was thus awarded the Man of the Match, broke the deadlock after only 17 minutes courtesy of a smart assist from Pape Matar Sarr. Kulusevski doubled Tottenham's lead shortly after the hour mark, with the Swedish attacker burying a well-worked ball from Udogie past Neto.

Things stayed this way until the final whistle, with the North London heavyweights setting a lovely feat thanks to this result. This is only the third time in Premier League history that Tottenham have scored two or more goals in each of their first three games of the league season, having last achieved this in 2009-10 and 2018-19.

And if that is not good enough news, Spurs went on to finish in the top four after pulling off the aforementioned feat.

While it is too early to predict where Angelos Postecoglou's side will finish in the league, the fans are enjoying what they are seeing and the team is performing well on the pitch, which is crucial.
