The Argentine ace will give his thoughts on the reasons why he will not be playing for Los Blaugranas anymore.

On Friday, Barcelona president Joan Laporta gave the club's reasons for not signing Lionel Messi once again. On Sunday, it will be "La Pulga"'s turn to share his truth to the world and more importantly to Barça fans.

Earlier today, the club confirmed that their all-time top scorer and icon for the past 16 years will bid farewell to the club in a press conference set to take place at Camp Nou's auditorium. Since there will be limited access to the event, all fans and even journalists will be invited to follow the press conference online.

Reports coming in from Spain suggest that Messi wanted to stay at Camp Nou and was willing to take a 50% cut from his previous wage to help Barcelona's ailing finances. Unfortunately, things did not go the way the club and the footballer expected when Los Culés reportedly asked Messi to take a 70% cut from his previous wage and they were not willing to give in to some of Messi's requests to do so.

Whether that plot is just a rumor or not, all the problems that led to the current scenario will be clarified by the Argentine, who will bid farewell to his only professional club despite his desire to end his playing career there.
