The teenager was the star of Sunday's encounter at the Molineux as the Red Devils hit a new high.

Manchester United have set a new record for the longest unbeaten away streak in the English Premier League following Sunday's win over Wolves at the Molineux. The Red Devils endured a tough test in the after's encounter to secure a narrow 1-0 win that has seen them surpass the milestone that was initially owned by the Arsenal "Invincibles".

In what was an enthralling clash which saw new boys Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho make their full debut, Manchester United were made to do a lot of defending in the first half. A series of brilliant defending as well as good goalkeeping by David de Gea was enough to keep Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in the game.

The second half saw an improvement in the performance of United although they did not find the back of the net until the 77th minute. Mason Greenwood's decider sparked a conversation in the aftermath after many claimed that Paul Pogba had fouled Ruben Neves in the build-up to the goal. In the end, the win meant that Manchester United have now gone 28 Premier League away matches unbeaten - a feat that has never been achieved by any club before.

The remarkable run began with a 2-0 win last season against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Having gone through the whole of last season without picking up a defeat in the league, the Old Trafford outfit has added to the streak to make it 18 wins and 10 draws. Prior to kick-off in the encounter with Wolves, the runners-up from last season's campaign were tied with Arsenal (27 matches) for the longest unbeaten run away from home in English football.

The last time they lost an away league game was against Liverpool at Anfield on January 19 2020. The game ended 2-0 in favor of the club from Anfield.
