A number of tasty clashes are in the pipeline with the round four fixtures of the competition now confirmed.

The Carabao Cup fourth round draw has taken place with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City all knowing their fate ahead of the last-16 stage of the competition. The full list of eligible participants were confirmed on Wednesday evening after the last set of games came to an end.

The most notable absentee will undoubtedly be Manchester United who were dealt a surprise 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford in their clash with West Ham United. David Moyes' charges now face a tough test in the next round after being paired with Manchester City. The latter thrashed Wycombe Wanders 6-1 in third round at Etihad on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are set to take on Southampton after defeating Aston Vila 4-3 on penalties following their 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. Their opponents defeated suffered the same fate on Tuesday, beating Sheffield United 4-2 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in regulation time. Former Premier League champions Liverpool got a favourable draw and will face Championship side Preston after being Norwich City 3-0 in the third round.

Arsenal will test the waters against fellow Premier League outfit Leeds United while newly-promoted Brentford will make a trip to Stoke. After defeating Millwall via a 2-0 scoreline on Wednesday night, Leicester City will take on Brighton and Tottenham Hotspur will look to build on their triumph over Wolves with another win against Burnley at Turf Moor. Last but not least, Sunderland, the only League One side remaining in the competition, have been drawn away at Queens Park Rangers.
