Player agent Moussa Sissoko was intercepted by Spanish media journalists, and his phone might have revealed where the footballer could be heading next.

Tensions between Barcelona and Ousmané Dembelé have seemingly reached a point of no return. The arrival of Dembelé's agent to Barcelona has done nothing but increase rumors of a potential exit for the Blaugrana footballer, with the latest revelations coming inadvertedly by the agent's phone.

Agent Moussa Sissoko, who arrived into Barcelona earlier today, made his way from the airport to Camp Nou's offices to deal with his client's future with the club. While heading to the car that would take him to the stadium, he received a phone call that could be decisive to know where Ousmané Dembelé will continue with his career. The phone call, as revealed by Spanish media outlet La Sexta, came from none other than PSG's sporting director, Leonardo.

Dembelé's agent, who has always stated that his client will not be forced to sign or leave the club, had a meeting with coach Xavi Hernández and Jordi Cruyff later in the day. Reports coming in from Barcelona hint that the meeting did not bring good news for Los Culés, as the first-team coach urged Dembelé and his agent to make up their minds. The message that leaked to the press came from Xavi: "Either you sign a contract extension, or you will need to leave the club in the winter transfer window," reports by Marca and As claim.

Negotiations are expected to conclude before this week comes to an end, especially due to Barcelona's need to add talent to their team. Reports by Spanish newspapers state that Los Culés have already agreed terms to hire Alvaro Morata, but in order to register him with the first team, Dembelé must either take a pay cut and extend his deal or leave the club, two options that seem far-fetched at the moment.
