Concacaf World Cup qualifying continues Sunday with the U.S. Men’s National Team visiting The Donut Box in Hamilton, Ontario, to take on rivals Canada. Learn how to watch the match in the USA, Canada and 19 other countries.

The USA and Canada carried on their strong form in Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers Thursday, with wins over El Salvador and Honduras, respectively. Now, the Americans will travel northward to face neighbors Canada in a match that can essentially seal qualification for Qatar 2022. The game is scheduled to kick off on Sunday at 3:05 p.m. ET.

Canada leads the Octagonal with 19 points and just five games left to play. The Canadians are undefeated – five wins, four draws – and lead the final round of Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers in goals for, goals against and goal differential. They have been the best team until this stage of the competition but, it can all change given the USA and Mexico’s proximity in the table.

The Stars and Stripes lag behind Canada Soccer by a single point. The difference between the Canadians and Americans is the USA’s away loss 1-0 against Panama in September 2021. However, home wins against Costa Rica, El Salvador and Mexico following their only defeat up to this point of the Octagonal round have kept them in the race for direct qualification to the 2022 World Cup.

Americans can watch the clash from home on live television by tuning in to Spanish-language channels Universo and Telemundo, and exclusively online on Paramount+ – in English. On the other hand, Canadians can tune in to TSN1.
