The Bianconeri duo will now be plying their trades in the Premier League after securing a move to Tottenham on deadline day.

It's the final day of the winter transfer window, and that means that many deals are set to be done today. Tottenham, who are under the guidance of Antonio Conte, have been scouring the market for some much needed reinforcements, and now Spurs have acquired not one, but two new players from Serie A.

Specifically, Juventus duo Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski will now be plying their trades in the Premier League. Bentancur, a 24-year-old Uruguayan international who plays as a midfielder, first joined Juventus in summer 2017, but four and a half years later, he's on the move again, this time to London. Reports indicate that Bentancur, who made over 180 appearances across all comps for Juventus, signed a three and a half year contract that will cost Spurs an initial €19 million, but could increase to €25 million depending on certain bonuses and other incentives.

Meanwhile, Kulusevski, who once represented Macedonia but now has switched to play for Sweden, has been brought in on an 18-month loan deal. The 21-year-old, who normally plays as a right winger, signed a deal initiall worth €10 million, but could rise to an additional €35 million if Spurs decide to buy him outright.

Given that Juventus spent upwards of €80 million on the recent signing of Dusan Vlahovic, it makes perfect sense that the Bianconeri sought to offload some players to help balance their books. And it's not surprising that new Spurs coach Antonio Conte has turned to Serie A to further bolster his squad. It'll be interesting to see how the new players adjust to life in English football's top flight and if their arrival will be able to help Tottenham start working their way up the table.
