The Spanish coach has decided to include Dembelé in the squad that will face Los Colchoneros in what should be a crucial tie for both teams.

After all that was said between Ousmané Dembelé, Xavi Hernández, the player's agent and Barcelona's board, it seems that the coach is ready to bury the hatchet and still keep the player involved in the team's upcoming games.

In fact, Hernández spoke about the team's need to keep Dembelé around and how he could benefit the team in key games such as the one they will have on Sunday when they host Atlético.

Speaking in the press conference ahead of the game, Hernández shared his views on the matter.

The coach urged those fans that will make it to Camp Nou to refrain from showing any discomfort they may have against Dembelé, since he will use the footballer whenever he believes he can help the team.

"I understand how everyone feels on this matter, even the fans who can have some sort of beef against the player. We have to be a bit selfish and think about what is the best thing for the club. He is under contract and he can help us achieve the goals we have set for this season. I don't care if we are wrong about that or not," the coach added.

Additionally, Xavi Hernández spoke about new signings Adama Traoré and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who could be involved in their first match for Los Culés since their move from the Premier League.

"Both of them trained normally during the week, Adama may be in better shape because 'Auba' had to deal with COVID-19, but both of them will be available. Adama could be closer to making his debut because he is in better physical shape, but both of them are fit and available for tomorrow," Xavi concluded.

Later today, Xavi's words were confirmed as the squad for Sunday's game was revealed with all four winter signings available on Xavi's roster.
