The German ace did not hesitate to score the crucial goal for The Blues in the final minutes of extra time against Palmeiras.

Some believe that big men step up and deliver when the going gets tougher, and Kai Havertz certainly is a living proof of that saying after scoring the game-winning goal for Chelsea against Palmeiras in the FIFA Club World Cup.

The German footballer took the responsibility of taking a crucial penalty kick in the dying minutes of extra time for the Blues, which would eventually turn into the game-winning goal for Thomas Tuchel's side. Havertz survived the pressure of scoring the penalty moments after the ref granted it due to an intervention by the Video Assistant Referee.

As you may remember, Havertz was also responsible for getting Chelsea here, and that fact alone has helped him make his way into an elite list of players that have been decisive in both the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
