The Belgian footballer scored his eleventh goal of the season with the Blues to help them reach the next stage of the tournament.

It has not been an easy season for Romelu Lukaku, but he finally proved his worth for Chelsea when the Blues needed him the most.

The Belgian ace teamed up with Timo Werner -another one of Chelsea's most criticized players- to lead the Blues to a 3-2 win in the FA Cup against Luton Town. Werner scored and assisted for two of Chelsea's goals, one of them with Lukaku at the receiving end to avoid what would have been a shocking result away from Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku's goal for Chelsea came with ten minutes to go in the match to cap the team's second comeback of the evening, as Tuchel's team recovered from an early goal by Reece Burke and a late effort by Harry Cornick, who canceled Saúl Ñiguez's equalizer. Werner would make it 2-2 during the second half, but the game-winning goal came courtesy of Lukaku with a 6-yard box finish.
