The Spanish giants have secured a historic partnership with Swedish streaming giant Spotify.

Earlier this year, we had reported on an interesting development concerning Barcelona and Spotify, with the Spanish giants looking to secure a lucrative partnership with the Swedish streaming giant as they aim to find a naming rights sponsor for the famous Camp Nou.

The first part of the deal had pretty much gone through, which would see Spotify became the new sponsor for the club. That means that the streaming conglomerate replaces Rakuten as the main name on Barcelona's kits, and starting from the 2022/23 season, fans will see Spotify's logo on both the matchday and training kits.

And now, the iconic Camp Nou will also have a new name. Starting from the upcoming term, Barcelona will rebrand the stadium as the Spotify Camp Nou. According to reports, the deal is pretty much signed and sealed, and is only waiting on official ratification from Barcelona's Members Assembly, which will be having a meeting in the next few weeks.
