Some serious allegations have been laid at the feet of the Brazilian superstars.

While Lionel Messi was absent from PSG's embarrassing 3-0 loss to Monaco, Parc des Princes superstar Neymar was on hand and, once again, helplessly oversaw another unacceptable defeat in recent weeks.

After being booed by his own fans straight after the club's UEFA Champions League exit at the hands of Real Madrid, the Brazilian would have been keen on redeeming himself. Unfortunately for him, the criticism continues to pile on.

And it's not only fans taking aim at the world's most expensive player. French journalist Daniel Riolo has joined in, slamming the Selecao sensation while laying some serious accusations at the feet of the South American attacker.

According to Riolo, Neymar's work ethic has hit a new low, claiming that the 30-year-old barely trains with his teammates anymore despite being one of their senior figures in the dressing room.

"Neymar hardly trains anymore, he arrives in a sorry state, almost drunk," the journalist told RMC Sport, as per Marca.

"That's the way it is, Neymar is in a spirit of revenge against PSG."

Riolo did not hide his feelings towards the former Barcelona attacker, calling for the Ligue 1 leaders to cut the Brazilian loose even if it requires a hefty payoff. And that's not all as the journalist also blasted sporting director Leonardo and club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi as both are yet to take ownership after another humiliation in Europe.

"PSG fans don't give a s**t about Neymar's antics or his Netflix documentary.

"We have to sign his check and let him go. He's doing a lot of damage to the club. Let him go, he is ruining PSG."

"PSG are no longer a club," Daniel went on to add.

"There is no common thread. The coach no longer exists, the president has not said a word.

"After such a disaster, the bolts should have been tightened. But, nothing. Neither from [sporting director] Leonardo nor from [president] Nasser Al-Khelaifi. Nothing. A total defeat."

Are these allegations true, however? While Neymar has been accused of indulging in the party lifestyle to the detriment of his career, failure to train with his fellow PSG comrades would be unacceptable, and as a result, these allegations should be taken with a pinch of salt. Nonetheless, it's just another testament to the toxic atmosphere at the Parc des Princes.
