Thought a move to Santiago Bernabeu was done and dusted for the Frenchman? Think again!

Kylian Mbappe's future at PSG has been one of the hottest topics in the world of football, with the Frenchman set to be a free agent this summer after turning down numerous offers to extend his Parc des Princes deal.

However, is a summer move to Real Madrid a given? According to the FIFA World Cup winner, the answer is no, as the Frenchman is yet to make a decision regarding his Ligue 1 situation.

The 22-year-old spoke about this matter shortly after his brilliant display in PSG's 5-1 win over Lorient in their first game back since the recent international break. The former Monaco sensation scored twice while also setting up the other three goals, meaning he contributed to all five goals in his side's rampant victory.

After the game, Mbappe spoke with Amazon Prime Video and made a few candid confessions as to whether he will leave the French capital or stay with the Qatari-owned team. Firstly, despite claims he has an agreement in place with Los Blancos, Kylian stressed that he is yet to make a decision. In fact, he even admitted that there is a possibility of him renewing—and thus remaining—at PSG.

"There are new elements, a fair amount of factors to take into account. Like I've said, it's not an easy decision," the Frenchman said, as per Marca.

"I'm trying to make the best one along with those close to me. I'm taking my time to make the best possible decision. If I had made my decision, I would've announced it.

"Is it possible to stay at PSG? Yes, of course."

However, according to Marca, Mbappe's latest statements change nothing. The Spanish publication claims that the world-renowned goalscorer is still destined to move to Madrid this summer bar any late hiccups, as the attacker prefers the prestige of Santiago Bernabeu over the riches of the Parc des Princes.
