The Belgian ace celebrated his 50th UEFA Champions League appearance with a key goal for the Citizens in their Quarterfinal tie against Los Colchoneros.

Manchester City have claimed a huge win over Atlético Madrid earlier today in the UEFA Champions League, and judging by the man of the match's words, Atlético's tactics had a lot to do with the end result.

At one point of the game, the Citizens had over 70% in the ball possession department, and considering that Los Colchoneros did not take one shot against Manchester City's net in the entire game, that ball possession statistic should not be surprising.

Nevertheless, this was truly concerning for Manchester City, and goalscorer Kevin De Bruyne did not hold back when analyzing the game in a post-match interview. The footballer stated how difficult it was for the Citizens to find room to wreak havoc within their rivals' defense, especially after Simeone's men seemed to take an even more defensive approach after 25 minutes of action.

Manchester City will be playing the second leg of this tie at Estadio Wanda Metropolitano next week, where fans, experts, and even the players involved will want to see a more forward approach by Atleti's Argentine coach, Diego Simeone.
