Unfortunately for them, Rangnick's men return home deflated and with zero points.

Are the Old Trafford side out of the top four race after this result? Mathematically, the answer is no, but should Tottenham and Arsenal win their respective games against Aston Villa and Brighton, then the Manchester giants will find themselves six points behind with only seven games left.

As for Rangnick, this defeat was made all the more worse as the German coach set an unwanted Premier League record. That result has left the former RB Leipzig tactician with only eight wins out of 17 English top-flight games, meaning he boasts a win rate of only 47%, which is the club's lowest rate under any manager in this competition.
