Top games to watch in the UEFA Europa League quarterfinals 2nd leg

Atalanta vs RB Leipzig

As with all but one of this season's quarterfinals, this tie ended 1-1 in the first leg, meaning there's a lot left to play for in this match. Atalanta will boast the home advantage this time around, welcoming their Bundesliga rivals to the Gewiss Stadium, and with the away goal being abolished in Europe, the Italians can only secure progression to the semifinals with a victory. Unfortunately, form has slipped away from Gian Piero Gasperini's side, with the Serie A outfit failing to win any of their last three outings, losing twice in the domestic top-flight.

RB Leipzig, meanwhile, have been in brilliant form and will thus enter this clash with confidence. Their most recent outing came in the Bundesliga, with Nkunku and Co. beating fellow top-four chasers Hoffenheim 3-0 to strengthen their grip on a UEFA Champions League spot. Additionally, prior to the 1-1 draw with Atalanta, Die Roten Bullen thrashed bitter rivals Dortmund 4-1, proving that they are not a team to be taken lightly. Don't miss this tie.

Lyon vs West Ham

This is another quarterfinal tied at one-all. While these are two of the favorites for title, alongside Spanish giants Barcelona, both teams enter this tie in terrible form. Lyon, who will boast the home advantage, continue to struggle in Ligue 1, meaning this is their only route back into Europe for next season. The French giants currently find themselves 10th in the table after their 1-1 draw with Strasbourg over the weekend, having won only one of their last six matches across all competitions.

As for the Hammers, they lost 2-0 to Brentford over the weekend in yet another disappointing result in the Premier League. As a result, David Moyes' men, who were flying high not too long ago, have now failed to win three of their last four games across all competitions. Their away form is even more concerning, having lost their last five matches on the road. Nonetheless, the London side could make amends for everything by winning the Europa League and victory over Lyon would take them one step closer to that goal.

Barcelona vs Eintracht Frankfurt

An in-form Barcelona return to action in the Europa League, with the Spanish giants taking on Eintracht Frankfurt in the second leg of their quarterfinal showdown. All eyes will be on the Blaugrana as they aim to make the semis in their only remaining route to silverware this season. Xavi's men are currently unbeaten in their last 15 matches across all competitions, winning all but four of those ties, and will look to add their Bundesliga rivals to their growing list of victims.

Frankfurt, on the other hand, find themselves in a tough run. The German outfit are on a six-game winless streak, having lost their most recent fixture, a 2-1 defeat against Freiburg. As a result, it comes as little surprise to see them 9th in the Bundesliga table. Can Oliver Glasner's side pull off an unexpected victory over Barcelona and book their ticket to the semifinals? Tune in to find out the answer!
