All four teams are still in the running to book their tickets to the final after a tense first leg that saw one narrow win and one draw.

The inaugural edition of the UEFA Europa Conference League has now reached its penultimate match, as only four teams: Leicester City, Roma, Marseille, and Feyenoord remain. Each side has had a long journey to get to this juncture, with plenty of ups and downs, thrills and spills, and now, only two games stand between each side and a chance to feature in the final, which will take place in just under a month's time on May 25th.

Here's all you need to know ahead of the semi-finals, will conclude with the second leg being played on Thursday, May 5th.

Preview: Roma vs Leicester City

Given that they currently sit in fifth and 11th in Serie A and the Premier League respectively, winning the Europa Conference League is the only opportunity to clinch silverware for Roma and Leicester City. Both teams have been in poor form domestically, with the Giallorossi being on a three game winless streak while the Foxes have won just one of their last five Premier League ties.

The first leg finished as a 1-1 draw, albeit Leicester were helped by an own goal from Roma, which cancelled out Pellegrini's first half effort. Jose Mourinho's men stumbled in a very disappointing 0-0 draw with Bologna at the weekend, which has ruled out any chance of them making a late push for a top four berth. With Champions League football now out the window, Mourinho will hope to rally his side to secure their spot in the final with the support of Roma's home fans to cheer the team towards the finish line.

Meanwhile, Leicester come into this tie having lost 3-1 to Tottenham last time out. As such, the Europa Conference League is the only path into European football next season for Brendan Rodgers's side, who have done quite solidly in this competition. However, injuries have started to pile up at the wrong time, making their trip to the Eternal City possibly that much trickier ahead of Thursday's showdown against Roma.

Team news: Roma vs Leicester City

Roma: Roma aren't dealing with any new injuries or other absences ahead of this match, with Leonardo Spinazzola now fit to join the squad after being out since last year.

Leicester City: Both Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and James Maddison are doubts after missing out on the game against Tottenham due to calf and hip injuries. Meanwhile, defenders Wilfred Ndidi and Ryan Bertrand remain out, while both Jonny Evans and Wesley Fofana are expected to return to the starting XI after being rested last weekend. Star striker Jamie Vardy, who came off the bench, could be involved from the start here.

Preview: Marseille vs Feyenoord

After a highly entertaining first leg, both Marseille and Feyenoord have it all to play for when the two sides renew acquaintances in France on Thursday evening. The Dutch side do have a slender 3-2 advantage, but nothing is decided, especially noting how strong Marseille have been in European club football's tertiary competition since dropping down into the Europa Conference League from the Europa League.

That being said, Marseille do come into this match having lost 3-0 to Lyon recently, and as such, Jorge Sampaoli will hope his team can put that negative result firmly behind them to overturn their disappointing result from the first semi-finals leg last week. Should Marseille get the job done, they'll be facing either Roma or Leicester in the showpiece final later this month, albeit Feyenoord will also have the same goal on their minds as well.

Currently in contention for a top-three finish in the Eredivisie, Feyenoord certainly will want to cap off a strong run in this competition by lifting the coveted prize. However, their away form in Europe is a major concern - with just six wins in their last 35; that being said, when winning the first leg at home, Feyenoord's chances are much improved, with wins in 21 of their last 26 following that result.

Team news: Marseille vs Feyenoord

Marseille: Both Leonardo Balerdi and Konrad De La Fuente will miss this match for the hosts.

Feyenoord: Jens Toornstra and Justin Bijlow will miss out for the visitors.

Match facts: Marseille vs Feyenoord

  • Marseille have yet to keep a clean sheet at home in the Europa Conference League
  • Marseille's record against Dutch sides in European competition is W7 D2 L7
  • Feyenoord are back in the semi-finals of a European competition for the first time in 20 years
  • Feyenoord have won just six of their last 35 away European games (D9 L20)
  • However, they've won 21 of the 26 previous European games in which they won the first leg at home
