The Senegalese star will be off to the Bundesliga champions after both sides agreed a deal worth approximately $43 million.

After months of speculations about his future, Sadio Mane will now be officially saying his goodbyes to Liverpool. The Senegalese superstar is now en route to Bayern Munich after the serial Bundesliga winners reportedly secured a deal for an estimated $43 million (£35 million/€41million).

The English giants will receive about $34 million (£27 million/€32 million) up front, while they could receive an additional $6 million (£5 million/€6 million) based on the player's appearances, plus a further $3 million which is contingent on both individual and team performances in domestic and continental competitions.

Liverpool first signed Mane back in 2016 from Southampton for an estimated $40 million (£33.5 million/€39 million) so they have made a slight profit on the 30-year-old.

During his six years at Anfield, Mane, who was key in Senegal's AFCON winning squad earlier this January, scored 120 goals while making over 260 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool. Along the way, he picked up several prizes, including the Premier League Golden Boot (during the 2018/19 season) as well as the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the FA Cup, and the Carabao Cup.

This will be Mane's first foray into the Bundesliga, having previously played for Metz in France, as well as Red Bull Salzburg in Austria before first arriving in the Premier League with Southampton back in 2014.

Mane has reportedly put pen to paper on a three year deal that will tie him to the Allianz Arena until 2025.
