The Blues are keen on the Three Lions winger. Thomas Tuchel's side have now been told what they will have to pay to get this deal done.

Despite the Chelsea takeover by Todd Boehly and Co. being completed a while back, the Premier League giants are yet to make any big moves in the ongoing summer transfer window. However, according to the latest reports, the Blues are picking up pace in their pursuit of one superstar.

That man is none other than Raheem Sterling. Thomas Tuchel is keen on strengthening his attack for next season ahead of a potential title push, having witnessed another disappointing campaign from the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Christian Pulisic, and Romelu Lukaku in particular -- more on him later.

Their interest in the aforementioned Etihad Stadium ace makes sense. The Englishman is a proven Premier League talent, but with the arrival of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez, the former Liverpool ace, who was already struggling for constant game time, could fall further down the pecking order.

Additionally, the 27-year-old has only one year left on his contract, meaning this is the ideal time for Guardiola's team to cash in on the forward if they wish to avoid losing him for free next summer. However, how much would it cost Chelsea to bring Sterling to Stamford Bridge?

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the FIFA Club World Cup holders have already made an offer to the Premier League champions worth €25M. Unfortunately, this bid was not accepted by Manchester City, with the league winners informing their rivals that it will take €55M-€60M for them to sanction Raheem's departure.

Having spent big on their Norwegian and Argentine signings, the Manchester giants look to recoup some of that fee and are keen on raising €100/110M from the sale of both Sterling and Gabriel Jesus, who is wanted by Arsenal. Chelsea are rumored to be confident in their pursuit, but only time will tell whether Tuchel's side will match Manchester City's asking price or whether Sterling's current employers will agree to a compromise.

The addition of an attacker is key for Chelsea as they are set to lose one forward this summer. That player is Romelu Lukaku, who looks destined to leave London for a second time after his horrible opening campaign. Despite his mega-money price, the 29-year-old only scored eight times in the Premier League last season and his employers are now keen on moving him on.

Inter Milan, his former club, look set to take him, but on a loan. According to Ben Jacobs of CBS Sports, the Belgian will return to the San Siro for a €10M loan fee plus add-ons. The London giants failed in securing a few players in this exchange as the two-time UEFA Champions League winners are keen on Skriniar, Dumfries, and Bastoni.
