The Danish defender left his former club under rather tense circumstances, but will be looking to put that all behind him as he begins a new chapter in Spain.

After a difficult process, Andreas Christensen has finally secured his dream move to Barcelona. The Danish defender earned some ire from some parts of Chelsea's support after refusing to take part in the FA Cup final last season, but will look to start the next stage of his career at the Camp Nou after signing a four year deal.

Along with Franck Kessie, who moved to Spain from AC Milan, Christensen has a buyout clause of $521 million (€500 million) as well as signed a four-year contract, tying him to the Spanish giants until June 2026.

It has been a very busy summer for Barcelona, who are aiming to strengthen their squad on all fronts. And if some reports are to be believed, the Blaugrana could be looking at other Chelsea players as well, with experienced defender Cesar Azpilicueta as well as his Spanish colleague Marcos Alonso not apparently being fully committed to remaining at Stamford Bridge.
