Spain and Denmark will battle for a coveted spot in the quarter-finals while Finland will hope to avoid humiliation as they face Germany.

Preview: Denmark vs Spain

Denmark had to fight tooth and nail for three points, but ultimately, Pernille Harder's late header was enough to decide the match against Finland and keep her team in the fight for a spot in the quarter-finals. Next up for De rød-hvide will be a decisive clash against Spain. As things stand, Spain, despite losing 2-0 to Germany, are actually ahead of Denmark because their 2-0 loss was not as significant as Denmark's 4-0 defeat on matchday one to the same opponent.

Hence, La Roja simply need to avoid a loss on Saturday, meaning that a draw would be enough to see them through to the quarter-finals. Whoever wins this game will have to face hosts England, who booked their spot there after demolishing Norway 8-0 in a record-setting game on matchday two. For Denmark, who made it to the EURO 2017 final, there will be that much more added incentive to try to rebound here, as they are on the cusp of what would be a rather surprising and disappointing group stage exit.

Spain, meanwhile, were dealt two huge blows with key players Alexia Putellas and Jennifer Hermoso being ruled out prior to the tournament with injuries, but Jorge Vilda's side started off well, before losing to Germany on matchday two.

Simply, it's win or go home for both Denmark and Spain. Which side will book their spot in the quarter-finals - and perhaps beyond - and which will end up with an early flight home?

Team news: Denmark vs Spain

Denmark: Youngster Kathrine Kuhl will be able to return to action here, after missing out on matchday two after being suspended, but it is likely the 19-year-old will be on the bench.

Spain: Laia Aleixandri is struggling with a muscular issue, so Vilda may have to modify his starting XI for this crunch clash.

Preview: Finland vs Germany

Finland, unfortunately, will come into this match with nothing but pride to play for after being eliminated on matchday two following their 1-0 loss to Denmark. They will have to take on Germany in their final group stage game, and while die Nationalelf will likely rotate their squad having already qualified for the quarter-finals, Finland are very likely in for a long evening on Saturday.

Anna Signeul's side endured heartbreak as they were undone by a late goal from Denmark, which effectively ended any hopes at qualifying for the quarter-finals. They are now on a four game losing streak, and extends Finland's poor run at the EUROs to seven matches and counting. Barring a shocking shambolic performance from Germany, Finland will struggle to gain any kind of foothold in this upcoming game. As such, managing the game and keeping the score-line respectable will very likely be the primary focus for a team who have endured great disappointment this summer.

As for Germany, this game is nothing but a dead rubber. Win, draw, or lose, they will still be featuring in the quarter-finals, but naturally, having already secured their spot, Germany will look to conclude their group stage campaign with three wins from three and look forward to facing either Austria or Norway in the next round.

Team news: Finland vs Germany

Finland: Anna Westerlund, Tuija Hyyrynen and skipper Tinja-Riikka Korpela look set to miss out due to illness, while Adelina Engman is struggling with a thigh issue and is a doubt.

Germany: Both Lena Oberdorf and Felicitas Rauch are suspended for this match. Lina Magull has been struggling with a hamstring problem that has seen her subbed off early in Germany's last two games, so she may be rested on Saturday.
