The Brazilian scored and assisted another two goals in his first game for the Blaugrana and now has his eyes set on this weekend's El Clasico in Las Vegas.

New Barcelona signing Raphinha has wasted no time in settling in with the Catalan giants!

Just days after officially completing his move from Leeds to Catalonia, the Brazilian ace made his debut in the Blaugrana's iconic jersey and needed less than 20 minutes to make a mark for his new employers.

The 25-year-old, who started in attack alongside Ansu Fati and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, set up the latter for the first goal in their pre-season showdown with MLS side Inter Miami, assisting the Gabonese superstar after only 19 minutes of play.

And to make things even better, a few minutes later, the former Premier League winger got his name on the scoresheet. The Selecao sensation fired a caressed shot on the volley via his dominant left foot which just managed to slip past the opposition goalkeeper's fingers. Watch his debut goal in the video below.

Xavi's men went on to score an additional four goals en route to a 6-0 triumph, with Raphinha later sending a message to the Barcelona fans after netting on his debut, albeit an unofficial debut. And if Culers were happy to hear those words, they will love what the Brazilian said later on as the attacker took aim at bitter rivals Real Madrid after his promising performance.

The 2021/22 campaign was a tough season for Barcelona fans. Not only did they have to witness Los Blancos beat them to the Spanish Primera Division crown, but the Camp Nou faithful also helplessly watched the Madrid giants win the UEFA Champions League crown, their 14th European success so far.

However, with Barcelona set to face Real Madrid in their next pre-season clash this weekend in Las Vegas, Raphinha offered words of encouragement to the supporters. Not only did speak of his desire to score against their Clasico rivals, but the attacker also argued that they are superior to Ancelotti's side ahead of the upcoming 2022/23 season.

"One always tries to score against anyone, but if it's in a Derby, even more. The most important thing is the win. But for me we're better than Real Madrid", Raphinha said, as per Marca.

The Catalan heavyweights have added the likes of Kessie, Christensen, Raphinha, and—most recently—Lewandowski to their roster this summer. It will be interesting to see whether the Polish superstar makes his debut in the upcoming Clasico as he could go head-to-head with Karim Benzema, Europe's other deadly no.9.
