The footballer may be on his way out of the club even if the club has not signed any strikers during this window.

Chelsea's transfer window has been a bit frustrating, with some of their transfers being hijacked by Barcelona and their transfers out of the team leaving barely any money to the team's bank account. Fortunately for the Blues, things could be about to change if this transfer is completed.

According to numerous reports, striker Timo Werner has asked the club to let him leave if the right offer comes to their front desk. Teams such as Newcastle, RB Leipzig, and Juventus have reportedly shown interest in the footballer, with the German ace pushing for a move to the bianconeri.

The main problem for Chelsea would be that Juventus would only be interested in a loan deal, which would force the Italian side to pay a smaller fee. Werner's intention would be to earn playing time before the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and a loan move to Juventus could do the trick for the out of favour striker.

If Werner ends up leaving the club, Chelsea will have to hire a regular No.9, considering that both of their strikers from last season(Werner and Romelu Lukaku) would have left the team. Last year, that role fell on Kai Havertz's lap, but the German footballer has stated he would prefer to play as an attacking midfielder.
