Despite spending big on Lewandowski, Kounde, and Raphinha, Laporta and Co. remain keen on strengthening even further.

Barcelona have been extremely active in the transfer window this summer despite their well-publicized financial troubles, and according to the latest reports, the Spanish giants are aiming to do further business before deadline day.

Despite signing the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Jules Kounde, the latter of which just made his debut on Sunday after being registered just before the weekend, the Blaugrana are said to be eyeing an additional three signings between now and September 1st.

This is according to Gerard Romero, the well-known Catalan journalist who mainly covers Barcelona.  However, this begs the question: after signing two center-backs, a midfielder, and two attackers, who are the three names Xavi is pursuing?

The first name is no surprise as it is none other than Marcos Alonso. Barcelona's pursuit of a left-back is well documented, having attempted several times before to land the Chelsea ace.

However, the aforementioned Spaniard isn't the only full-back they are after as the Liga giants are also reportedly keen on a right-back. This stems from the situation surrounding Sergino Dest as the American international could head out the Camp Nou door in the final days of the transfer window.

This means a replacement is needed for the former Ajax talent and two names have been identified. Juan Foyth was on their radar, but the Villarreal defender has since picked up a concerning injury that looks to rule out any move. Arsenal man Hector Bellerin is also a potential target, but whether the Blaugrana are ready to pay the Gunners a fee remains unclear.

And that's not all as a third player could also be targeted. However, as of now, it does not appear clear who that player or position could potentially be.

Additionally, the board look to get rid of five unwanted players, of which Dest is included. Initially, the club were keen on selling Frenkie de Jong in order to recoup some money after their hefty spending spree, but the Dutchman has won his battle to remain and will be going nowhere.

However, the same isn't true for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Memphis Depay, two attackers that will find playing time hard to come by after the addition of Lewandowski. Additionally, Martin Braithwaite and Miralem Pjanic are also expected to leave.
