The Norwegian star continued his brilliant goalscoring form, this time netting past Jose Sa in Saturday's showdown at the Molineux Stadium.

Manchester City kicked off Saturday's round of Premier League fixtures, with the defending champions visiting Wolves in the early fixture. Despite entering this tie on the back of their 2-1 victory over Dortmund, many predicted the Cityzens would be in for a tough test at the Molineux Stadium, which is a tricky ground to visit.

However, quite the opposite unfolded. Guardiola's men needed only 55 seconds to tear apart the Midlands side, with De Bruyne setting up Jack Grealish for the opening goal just under the minute mark. From then on, it became evident that the Manchester giants would march to victory.

In fact, only 15 minutes later, the visitors doubled their lead. To no one's surprise, their second goal came from the likeliest of sources: Erling Haaland. The Norwegian continued his brilliant goalscoring record, this time netting from outside the box against Jose Sa.

And just like that, the former Dortmund sensation wrote his name in Premier League history. Yes, after netting a whopping 14 times in his first 10 appearances for Man City, 11 of which were scored in the English top-flight, Haaland broke a lovely record.

Never before has a player arrived in the Premier League and scored in all of his first four away games. That is, not until the coming of Haaland. Having netted at West Ham, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and now Wolves, Erling has achieved what no other man could in their English top-flight debut campaign.

And there you go: the Norwegian has shown once again why he is one of the most feared strikers in world football. With the Norwegian's eyes set on the league title and the Golden Boot, it will be interesting to see which defenders, if any, can stop the Cityzens superstar.
