Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has questioned Manchester United’s decision to sign former PSG forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The 34-year-old joined the English giants three weeks ago on a free transfer after his contract with the Red Devils came to an end.
And now, Scholes believes that the Swede could have a rough time scoring goals for the Manchester outfit. In an interview with Sport Witness, Scholes said:
“We don’t know about Zlatan.
“He is 34 and probably going to play only for a year. Okay, he is a fit lad.
“I think with Ibrahimovic, he was playing in a team of PSG and they created a lot of chances, it was easy for him to score goals in that league.’’

He added:
“This Manchester United team isn’t as good as the PSG team. It might be in time to come.
“He is going to have to do more for himself in the Manchester United team. More than he did at PSG.”
This comes just a few days after the bullish forward had revealed that he would be the ‘god of Manchester.’ He was responding to Eric Cantona’s video which he had described himself as the ‘King of Manchester’ and gave the former Inter Milan man the choice to become the prince if he wanted to.
