Match forecast
Malaga have a worrying statistic away from home – they have not won any of their last eight league matches away from La Rosaleda. They also come into this match with a series of injuries and the absence of Ignacio Camacho could be their main undoing in their trip to the Catalan giants.
Barcelona are expected to come out all guns blazing especially due to the fact that they have a chance to top the league depending on the results from the Madrid derby. Even without the presence of Suarez, the hosts are expected to take all the three points at home.
However, this will not be an easy outing for Luis Enrique’s men. Malaga have lost just one of their last five league games; the only defeat was against another La Liga giant Atletico Madrid. The visitors will also find some hope in the fact that Barcelona have kept just one clean sheet in their last four matches.
The underdogs are expected to play a defensive game here while hoping to catch Barca on counter-attacks. You can expect the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar, who have been impressive over the international break with their countries to unlock their opponent’s defense and finally secure the three important points.
