The Brazilian right back left Los Blaugranas after last season. Will he become Juve's antidote to beat Luis Enrique's crew in the UCL Quarter finals?

One of the best signings made by Barcelona was, without a doubt, the one that saw Dani Alves leave Sevilla to join Los Blaugranas. The Brazilian ace was a key member of Pep Guardiola's version of Los Cules, and his stats surely support such claims

23 titles, including 3 UEFA Champions Leagues and six La Liga wins with Los Blaugranas are part of Alves' resume at Camp Nou. Unfortunately, and even against the player's will, he decided to leave the Catalans due to a misunderstanding with President Josep Maria Bartomeu.

Despite that fact, Alves continues to be a fan-favorite at Can Barça, since he never denied his desire to please the crowd and defend all of Barcelona's values, even if that got him in trouble with the press and opponents.

Alves had a way of getting into his opponents' heads, and even got in trouble with Spanish media outlets he believed to be "biased".

Quotes

Leaving Barcelona wasn't easy for Alves, and even away from them, media outlets from around the world keep asking him questions about his former club. Here are a couple of his reactions when asked about Los Blaugranas' current affairs.

"I like being loved by people. If I don't feel love, I leave. Leaving Barcelona the way I did gave me the chance to deliver them a blow with class. They never talked to my face, I had to deal with rumors about my departure for three years. Offering me a contract extension after FIFA's ban was disrespectful. Barcelona's current execs have no idea about how to keep their players happy". - Speaking in an interview with Diario ABC, February 20, 2017.

"It would be a little weird to face them. If I really have to, I’d prefer it to be in the Champions League Final ". - Speaking to beIN Sports, following Juventus' 1-0 win against Porto.

Alves' reaction to the UEFA Champions League draw = EPIC!

Earlier today, the Twitter feed for the UEFA Champions League posted Dani Alves' quote about not wanting to face Barcelona. Apparently, they believed Alves wouldn't react to their words.

Outspoken as he is, Alved didn't waste any time to reply, and although classy, there seems to be a wink of nostalgia in his words.

Being one of Camp Nou's favorite sons for almost seven years, we'll have to wait and see how fans react to Alves' appearance as an opponent, when he tries to help Juventus beat Los Blaugranas in their quarter final matchup.
