There has been no true confirmation, but as at now, it is understood that a transfer deal has been completed in favour of Barcelona for Arsenal’s Cesc Fabregas.
The Spaniard has long been chased by the Catalan giants, and at some point, Barca’s relentless efforts to land the attractive player at the Camp Nou were almost seen as extremely disrespectful acts toward the Gunners. But finally, after long sessions of talks and speculations, a new report has arrived, stating that Fabregas is at last joining FC Barcelona.
Reports in Spain also say that the 24-year-old has completed a five-year contract and is set to officially become a Barca player over the weekend after protracted negotiations. Famous goalie Victor Valdes expressed great joy over the news, and when asked for his opinion on the issue, he asserted:
“I am not disclosing anything. But, as you know, it is advanced, and although it is not official, it will surely be closed very soon.”
