Luis Enrique's team ended the match against Malaga with no shots on goal, but managed to get a clean sheet against one of La Liga's worst attacks.

It seems Barcelona left its high scoring power at home, not being able to damage Malaga's well guarded net. Today, the almighty La Liga leaders weren't able to shoot on Carlos Kameni's goal once, earning their first draw of the season. This was the first time in almost ten years that Barcelona's players weren't able to shoot on goal.

One of Barcelona's greatest, Andres Iniesta, gave credit to their opponents, as they were unable to break through their well-placed defense:

"We tried, but Malaga was very defensive. We knew it and couldn't solve it. They did a good job, and we'll take the point," Iniesta said after the game.

Perhaps one of the most tense moments of the game happened when Lionel Messi had Weligton's hand on his face.

NO RED CARD? Weligton was not punished for "disciplining" Messi

Following the game, Malaga's defender claimed he was provoked by "La Pulga":

"I pulled Messi in the throat? Well, he called me a bastard," the defender said.

For coach Luis Enrique, there seems to be no problem yet. Barcelona's boss shared his thoughts on what proved to be a rather unexpected outcome:

"It was a tough game, we have to give credit to the opponent. It was a fair result since we kept failing the last pass and lacked a little bit of patience. We will have to work on some solutions, we have said before we'll keep improving. We're in the fifth round, it's logical there are things not working yet," coach Martinez stated.

This game for Barcelona was a historic one either way. For the first time since 1977, Los Blaugranas managed to keep a clean sheet in a five-game span. Furthermore, with tonight's draw, Barcelona got to the 4,000 point mark in La Liga history.
