Ever Banega will join the neroazzurri next season on a free transfer, following a successful stint with UEFA Europa League champions Sevilla.

Inter Milan may have hit the jackpot with their new signing.

Reports from Italian website Gazzetta World claim that 27-year old midfielder Ever Banega will join Inter Milan on a free transfer next summer, after signing a three-year deal with the neroazzurri ten days ago.

Banega, who won the UEFA Europa League last season with Sevilla, was one of Barcelona's main targets for the upcoming transfer window, but Roberto Mancini's crew offered him a more central role with the team, something that might have helped the Argentinean to make his decision.

The player started his playing career with Boca Juniors back in 2006, and even if he has failed to win a league with any of his previous teams, he holds quite an impressive international resume. Banega won the Copa Libertadores title with Los Xeneizes, last year's UEFA Europa League (being named the Finals' MVP) and Gold Medal with Argentina in the 2008 Olympic Games.

Banega's arrival will solve quite a few problems for Roberto Mancini, as his team has struggled with creativity issues throughout the season. The deal will be officialized when the ongoing season comes to a close.
