Real Madrid’s season has derailed in recent weeks, with the 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid all but ending their hopes of winning La Liga.
Nonetheless, the 10-time Champions League winners’ season is in store for a huge boost, as Welsh superstar Gareth Bale made his return to first-team training on Tuesday.

The former Tottenham midfielder has been on the sidelines for six weeks, with his last appearance coming in the 5-1 victory over Sporting Gijon back in January 17.
The 26-year-old world’s most expensive player has missed seven games for Los Blancos in total since succumbing to a calf injury, with Zidane’s crew winning only four of those fixtures.
Despite returning to individual training in late January, Marca reported that Bale suffered a setback which led to Zizou avoiding any risks by rushing the Welshman back.
He has now returned to first-team training, and though there remains a possibility that the Real Madrid number 11 could feature against Levante on Wednesday, the possibility of Bale playing remains unlikely.

Regardless, his return is a huge boost, as he is one of Les Merengues’ most influential midfielders with 11 goals and 4 assists in his last 8 Spanish Primera Division outings.
Unfortunately for Real Madrid, they will still be without deadly trio BBC, as the return of Bale coincides with a recent injury to Karim Benzema.
The Frenchman came down with a muscle injury in the Madrid derby loss, one which will rule out for a month, with the club stating via their official website that “his recovery will continue to be assessed”.
