The Belgium national team had no other choice but to cancel its training session for Tuesday in the wake of the terror attacks at the Brussels airport and subway.
The Red Devils, who are set to participate in the Euro 2016 this summer, were preparing for an international friendly match against Portugal scheduled for March, 29.
According to CNN, there were three explosions that claimed at least 30 lives and wounded 170 more. The report further claims that 20 people died in the subway station, while 10 others were killed in two separate blasts at the airport. Authorities have confirmed that it was a suicide attack although no terror group has claimed responsibility so far, as different players at the training camp took to social media to mourn with the families of the departed souls. Here are some of the reactions, lead by captain Vincent Kompany:
1) Horrified and revolted. Innocent people paying the price again. My thoughts are with the families of the victims. #Brussels
