The Western Conference Final brings the LA Galaxy and FC Dallas together for a showdown in California.
LA Galaxy hosts FC Dallas at the Home Depot Center in the Western Conference Final. LA have defeated their opponents 25 times, while Dallas have beaten them on 9 occasions.

The Galaxy go into the match seeded first in the conference table, and the visitors seeded third. LA may be without defender Leonardo, who is doubtful with a knee injury. Dallas have four starting players injured, including forward Rodriguez.

LA will rely on the winning combination on Beckham and Buddle. The pair are extremely dangerous from set pieces, and with Donovan’s contribution, the Galaxy are a handful for any defense.

Harris, Cunningham and Ferreira are the best weapons in Dallas’ arsenal. The visitors will look to score early to disrupt the home side, but without depth in their squad, Dallas may be exposed in the second half.

The Galaxy will rely on the advantages in defense and midfield, and may try to slow down the play to keep possession. Dallas know they need to play their own game, and keep passing the ball fluidly from midfield to attack.

Both teams have spectacular keepers in Ricketts and Hartman. The LA keeper won the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year award, but Dallas’s goalie came in second. Whichever side can dictate the tempo should come away with a victory.
