The Ivory Coast midfielder has managed to change his boss' mind about him, following a stint on the sidelines due to some out-of-order comments by his agent.

Whenever you feel your boss will not change his mind about your work, remember Yaya Toure's relationship with Pep Guardiola and think again.

Due to the midfielder's hard work, Guardiola has changed his stance about the former African Player of the Year. In fact, the Catalan boss has admitted he will seek to extend Toure's contract with the Sky Blues, since he has proven to be quite useful ever since he returned to the first team.

Touré got into a war of words with the former Bayern Munich tactician, as both himself and his agent believed that Guardiola's arrival meant he would have to leave the Etihad. After issuing a public apology, the 33-year-old has played seven games in all competitions, scoring two goals and delivering top-notch performances, which have made Guardiola think twice about letting him go next summer.
