AFCON 2017 semi-finalists confirmed, Morocco and Congo sent packing

The semi-finalists of the African Cup of Nations have been confirmed after Saturday's quarter-final clashes.

In the first quarter-final Ghana edged out RD Congo to book a spot in the semis against Cameroon. In the second quarter-finals, Egypt sent rivals Morocco packing to book a date with Burkina Faso.

The first semifinal will be played on February 1, 2017 with Burkina Faso taking on Egypt at Stade de l'Amitie in Libreville. Cameroon with then take on Ghana on February 2 at Stade de Franceville in Franceville.
