Barcelona suffered a shock 2-0 defeat to Malaga on Saturday April 8 in La Liga at La Rosaleda. The defending champions wasted a glorious chance to close the gap between them and leaders Real Madrid, who drew 1-1 with rivals Atletico Madrid in the Madrid derby earlier on the same day.
Former Barca man Sandro Ramirez opened the scoring against his former side in the 32nd minute. Things went from bad to worse for the Catalan outfit when their star man Neymar was shown red after a second bookable offense. Jony then drew the last nail into FCB's coffin with a 90th minute winner.
