The Partenopei have been in brilliant form so far this season, and now Luciano Spalletti's side have secured their spot in the knockout rounds with two games to spare.

They are top of the league, and top of their Champions League quartet. It's safe to say that this season has been a brilliant one for Napoli, who currently have yet to lose match so far this term. Despite losing key players like Kalidou Koulibaly and Lorenzo Insigne, Luciano Spalletti's side have been going from strength to strength, as they are just one of two unbeaten sides so far in Serie A, where they have a two poitn lead over the chasing pack.

In addition, Napoli are currently top of their Champions League quartet, and following a 4-2 win over Ajax, are now into the round of 16 with two games to spare. Despite being paired in a tough group alongside English giants Liverpool, the Partenopei are the ones leading the way, having won all four of their group stage matches, including a stunning 4-1 win over Liverpool.

Indeed, Napoli have scored a whopping 17 goals so far, including 10 alone against Dutch champions Ajax. Next up for Spalletti's men will be a home clash against Bologna, and given their impressive form, the Partenopei are the clear heavyweights to pick up three points and extend their lead on top of the table.

Of course, Napoli have taken an early lead in the Scudetto race, only to come up short when the season ends, but fans will be naturally hoping that maybe this time around will bring them better fortunes as they chase their first Scudetto and possibly European title in over three decades.
