The Red Devils registered back-to-back 4-0 wins after only two games, but opinions are split on whether this will be their season.

On Saturday, Man United kicked off Matchday 2 of the new Premier League season with a trip to Swansea. Fresh off an impressive 4-0 win over West Ham, the Red Devils needed another win to dispel belief that there opening day win was mere fluke.

And win they did. Mediocre defending from the Swans helped, but the 20-time Premier League champions were ruthless and efficient nonetheless, marching on to another convincing 4-0 win.

Eric Bailly opened the scoring to give the away side a 1-0 lead heading into the break. The score remained this way until the 80th minute when three goals in three minutes and 41 seconds saw Man United run away with the win.

With three goals in two games under Lukaku’s belt, two clean sheets in as many games under their defense’s belt, and eight goals in their first two games; many could not help but tip Mourinho’s men to win the title.

Of course, not many agreed with the above tweets. Others felt that this prediction – the Red Devils winning the title – is premature given that their first two opponents were West Ham and Swansea, clubs that struggled last season.
