Mourinho's decision may be shocking to some, but this choice has a special motivation for the former Manchester United boss.

Earlier this year, Jose Mourinho had revealed that he was waiting for the summer to start working again. Today, his potential destination has been revealed in a report by The Mirror.

The English tabloid published today that the former Manchester United and Real Madrid tactician has approached two Ligue 1 clubs to take over as their boss for the 2019-20 season. Surprisingly, none of those clubs is PSG, as Mourinho has allegedly spoken to Lyon and Monaco execs to become their coach.

Mourinho's motivation to join these teams comes as he wants to coach in a fifth league, aiming to win a league title in each and every one of them. So far, The Special One has won league titles in Portugal (Porto), Italy (Inter Milan), Spain (Real Madrid) and England (Chelsea). Winning a league title in a fifth league would see him become one of the best coaches in history, since no coach has managed to accomplish that feat.

The Portuguese manager has been linked with a job at Ligue 1, but PSG was seemingly his potential destination. Will The Special One end up coaching in the French league? We shall find out in the next three months!
