A Canarinha surprised fans with their new outfit for the 2019 Copa América, but fans seem to have their doubts about it.

Brazil will celebrate the 100th anniversary of their first Copa America win with a very special jersey, which has brought to light some of their biggest fears.

The team's American kit sponsor, Nike, came up with a couple of designs that intend to pay homage to the team's first victory in the South American competition. While the first kit keeps their usual yellow and green colors, the away jersey will be white, something that had not been "allowed" by fans since the 1950 World Cup.

The reason for this superstition has to do with their 1950 World Cup loss against Uruguay at home, known as the "Maracanazo". Back then, Brazil used an all-white jersey, but since their 2-1 defeat in the final against Uruguay, the color was somewhat banned from all of their kits.

Fans voiced their thoughts on the new jersey almost immediately, with some of them making some hilarious remarks. Some believe that the team is preparing for a new failure, others think that a white kit should have never been used again, and others panned Neymar's diving skills and predicted the away kit would end up being green due to Neymar's excessive diving. Others, however, praised the kit and urged Nike to come up with designs such as this one more frequently.
