Rumors linking Barcelona with a move for Marcus Rashford have returned to the headlines ahead of their second leg showdown with Man United in the Champions League.
The Blaugrana is gearing up to host the Red Devils in a highly-anticipated European clash on Tuesday. While the Catalan's giant has nothing in sight but a spot in the semi-final, they will keep an eye on Rashford who is set to feature at Camp Nou.
While these links are nothing new, it is now being reported that the Spanish giant is lining up a $131M (£100M) bid for the Englishman. This is according to the Mirror, claiming that Barcelona looks to take advantage of the attacker's contract situation.
The 21-year-old will enter the final 12 months of his current Old Trafford deal this summer and while the club can exercise the option of extending that by another year, an extension is preferable. However, no agreement has been struck.
Man United, having witnessed the youngster return to his best under Solskjaer, is ready to offer him better terms. The Premier League heavyweight wishes to tie him down with a new deal that will run until 2024 and see him pocket nearly $400,000 per week, £300,000 to be exact.
