The two coaches picked up the role after taking respective breaks from team management with the former parting ways with Manchester United midway into the 2018/2019 season and the latter ending a 22-year stint as the head coach of Arsenal.
As the history of the pair suggests, a fascinating encounter could yet be on display, come June 1. For more than a decade, a fiery rivalry has existed between the former Chelsea and Arsenal managers. Most notable, Jose Mourinho labeled Arsene Wenger as 'a specialist in failure' back in 2015 - an attribute the Frenchman took serious offense to.

A season later, the then-manager of the Gunners somewhat got his revenge by shoving his Portuguese arch nemesis during an altercation on the sidelines while his side trailed 2-0 against the Blues. The war of words continued in the seasons after and the rivalry is still perceived to be intact.
