Chelsea and Real Madrid seem to be hours away from making Eden Hazard's transfer official, but the move has already caught the attention of fans and experts around the world.
The Belgian ace came out to say he was ready for a new challenge right after the UEFA Europa League final, which the Blues won with a 4-1 score against Arsenal. Today, and despite the player is out of a contract with Chelsea next summer, reports by Sky Sports reveal that both clubs have agreed a fee of £88M (roughly $111M) to see the playmaker join Los Blancos.
The deal includes a number of add-ons that will take the deal up to £130M (around $165M), in what seems to be a perfect ending for the player's stay at Stamford Bridge.

If this report is true, Hazard will be making history for both the English and the Spanish sides. Real Madrid will be breaking their record for the most expensive transfer, beating the amount paid to sign both Gareth Bale ($101M) and Cristiano Ronaldo ($96M).
Furthermore, Chelsea will complete the second most expensive transfer for a Premier League team, following Philippe Coutinho's $184M transfer to Barcelona in January 2018.
Hazard will become Real Madrid's third summer arrival after Eder Militao and Luka Jovic.
