Die Roten's sporting director made the trip to England to start dealings to lure the 23-year-old to Allianz Arena.

Bayern München will try to satisfy their coach's "dream" signing, as Sports Director Hasan Salihamidzic has already traveled to England to negotiate for Leroy Sané's transfer.

The former Bosnian midfielder has already met with Manchester City execs, with the German giants ready to offer the 23-year-old a five-year deal. Furthermore, the player would be given a chance to show his skills regularly with the first team, something he has demanded from Pep Guardiola but has failed to obtain.

According to German news outlet Bild, Bayern München's exec will offer Sané a weekly wage of $247,000, which will also make the footballer ponder his options.

Earlier this week, Bayern's boss Niko Kovac admitted that Sané would be the cherry on top of a great squad, but negotiations will not be easy, according to the Croatian tactician.

"We all know that Leroy Sane is our dream player. The public knows that, we know that. You can see that the transfer is not easy. But I know that our people are working very hard to make it happen," Kovac said

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has already said that Sané is still a key member of the team, but he can't force him to stay with the EPL champions. Added to that, Guardiola can't promise the player the amount of playing time he demands, which could end up paving the way for a transfer.

"It's not in our hands, he has to decide. If he wants and there is an agreement then it's good but if he wants to leave he can do it but we will be sad. Hopefully he stays," Guardiola said in regards to Sané last week.

Bayern München has already added Lucas Hernández and Benjamin Pavard to their lineup, but reports coming in from Germany suggest that some of the team's leaders have urged their bosses to try and sign more players if they want the club to be a contender to win the UEFA Champions League this season.
