The French star seems determined to leave the club despite Ed Woodward's efforts to keep him around.

News referring to Paul Pogba's potential exit from Manchester United had ceased for a while, but a fresh report by The Sun suggests that the footballer is not willing to wait until next summer to leave the club, and he is willing to part ways with the Red Devils this winter.

The report suggests that the Frenchman will snub a hefty contract extension offer from Man United's chairman, Ed Woodward, in an attempt to see his time at Old Trafford end. Pogba will make astronomical wage demands to extend his deal, which ends in 2021, in order to force Manchester United to sell his rights.

Furthermore, Pogba is still interested in joining compatriot Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid, with the club set to meet their coach's demands this time around. Zidane is a bit short of midfielders this season, which has forced him to deploy James Rodríguez or even Eden Hazard in that region of the pitch to fill in for those who have been injured.

Nevertheless, Manchester United seems ready to fend off any interest on their marquee player, as they have set a $245M asking price for the footballer. So, if Real Madrid is ready to sign Pogba, they will have to break out their banking accounts to fund the deal.
