The French side needs one point to secure the group's top spot, but coach Tuchel will not play all his cards in one hand.

The high-voltage game between Real Madrid and PSG will have a major absence during the first minutes, as one of Les Parisiens' brightest stars will not be around when the game kicks off.

Los Blancos and the French side are battling for the top spot of the group, and with such a crucial scenario, one would expect to see PSG's finest players on the pitch right from the start, but coach Thomas Tuchel has chosen otherwise, and he decided to leave Neymar on the bench for the game against the Spanish giants.

According to reports by both Le Parisien and L'Equipe, Tuchel believes that Neymar's long spell on the sidelines will be conuter-productive for his team, which will force him to begin the game with Angel Di Maria, Kylian Mbappé and Mauro Icardi up front.

Neymar could play his first UEFA Champions League game of the season, following a two-game ban and a six-week absence due to injury. But if he is given a chance to do so, all the evidence suggests that the footballer will have to do so from the bench.
