The French striker sparked a row with his manager in Saturday's Ligue 1 game.

A fan footage has shown Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe and club manager Thomas Tuchel being involved in a prolonged war of words following the former's substitution in Saturday's league win over Montpelier. The 20-year-old French star was visibly unhappy and appeared to have made his frustrations clear to his coach as he made his way to his seat in the stands.

It was yet another stroll in the park for Les Parisiens who were up by five goals against the night's opposition after 60 minutes. An early red card to Dimitry Bertaud aided the Parc des Princes outfit to stage an onslaught with Pablo Sarabia, Angel Di Maria and Layvin Kurzawa all getting on the scoresheet. Relatively, a Daniel Congre own-goal contributed to the scoreline whereas Kylian Mbapppe also extended his scoring streak prior to his unfortunate episode with his manager.

Having scored PSG's fourth goal with an assist from Neymar in the 57th-minute, the former AS Monaco was ejected 12 minutes later with Mauro Icardi coming in as his replacement. However, on his way to take his seat on the bench, he supposedly confronted Thomas Tuchel as to why he was substituted and got animated while his manager seemingly offered an explanation. This visibly enraged striker then stormed off to join his teammates on the bench and refused to take his jacket on the way. Watch:

In retrospect, Mbappe's actions were nothing anew as he was involved in a similar tiff with his manager following his substitution against the same club back in December last year. Apparently, the World Cup winner had not learnt any lessons since that episode and after the Saturday's clash was concluded he was publicly scolded by his manager in his post-match address.

"Handling dressing room egos is demanding," the former Dortmund manager told Canal+.

"Not difficult but demanding. It is not good, nor was it going too far. We are a team and that must be respected.

"I am coach. Somebody has to decide who comes off and goes on. These are not good images as they negatively affect the state of mind. We are playing football -- not tennis. Kylian is intelligent and has a good mentality, so we do not need this sort of situation.

"It is not good as it opens discussion and distracting subjects that affect our spirit. Together, with Kylian, we have shown a very professional and concentrated spirit. This topic always gives the impression that it is not like that, which is a shame. I am not angry, just sad as it was unnecessary."
